zhī rén zhě zhì ， zì zhī zhě mínɡ 。
知  人  者  智  ， 自 知  者  明   。

shènɡ rén zhě yǒu lì ， zì shènɡ zhě qiánɡ 。
胜    人  者  有  力 ， 自 胜    者  强    。

zhī zú zhě fù 。
知  足 者  富 。

qiánɡ xínɡ zhě yǒu zhì 。
强    行   者  有  志  。

bù shī qí suǒ zhě jiǔ 。
不 失  其 所  者  久  。

sǐ ér bù wánɡ zhě shòu 。
死 而 不 亡   者  寿   。

He who knows other men is discerning; he who knows himself is advisable.

He who overcomes others is strong; he who overcomes himself is doughty.

He who is satisfied with his lot is rich.

He who goes on acting with energy has a firm will.

He who does lose his duty and groundwork continues long.

He who dies yet his spirit remains has longevity.
